100th post
For those of you who had not known, I have changed my work role from Product Quality to Customer Quality. This might sound contradicting to my previous motto in life where I look up upon technical information as a true source of wisdom and knowledge and of course a form of job satisfaction, but having joined this company, I was shown that despite all the knowledge or effort you put into helping your product reach a more mature quality level, it all boils down to how management views you from their perspective. A good quality engineer might successfully averted disaster from his factory but his work might not be understood or appreciated by others.
Customer quality stands at the same fine line but it has one thing that I believe will make my life more happy, and that is the work loads are more cyclical. In order to keep working in this company, I find that I need time to pick up, sustain and then go back to standby mode again. One can never keep operating at 95% efficiency (well at least me) and I find that this new department is a good way to build up the way I speak to others
So currently I am holding two roles (product quality and customer quality) and that is why I can't find the time to update my blog or give you an update of how am I doing (not that you care anyway I know :P) By next week the replacement should arrive and I would do my passdown and go on with my life with SAP system and CQE :)
And here is an update of how my car is doing, ever since getting out from the workshop, there had been a few hiccups here and there, so in chronological orders:
- Air cond not cold (compressor faulty)
- Clock not working (fuse 20A burnt)
- Air cond not cold again (dryer pipe leak)
So far its running good and most of the problems were fixed in the warranty period. Have also changed the tyre to Hankook Ventus HR2 and I must tell you, I miss my old Advan Neova.
Have been actively playing pet society and Restaurant city lately also :)
I vowed to get myself out from facebook games but looks like I'm into it again, don't know how long it will be before I stop playing it. There are many times I knew its not a right thing to do, but part of my hearts want to do it and when it failed to deliver what I want, the results could be disastrous. I hope I can learn as fast as I could or there won't be much chances for me to blow next time...
Till then

Nice week ma...
Had been watching alot of movie lately... finally there are time to clear up those downloaded movie especially this week where my schedule and job load are loose (don't tell my boss)! Had been watching "What happened in Vegas" which is kinda like a chick flick, not bad of a show which cool down myself but with an expected ending. Worth watching if you want something light... and there are a few spur of the moment laughter... well, it would be seriously wrong if you don't laugh watching this movie anyway. Cameron is kinda chio in certain scene and potong stim in certain shots... but I'm sure this is what the director want the audience to feel...
Another film is "Sniper", and no... this is not the English movie which have a few sequel here and there, this is a chinese film starring innocenti Richie Ren, sex king Edison and another guy I don't know his name. The movie basically used all the famous sniper rifle that CS fans and airsoft fans would heard of... PSG-1, Artic warfare AWP, Dragunov, Beretta 50 cal. (yup that anti vehicle shit) are all there... the plot is a standard "best guy" left the academy coz of circumstancial issue and came back for revenge and take out some good guys before some good guy come back and square off with him. It talks about some of the sniping method and tactic but nothing deep like "double tap" or the like. Its worth noting that his movie is also behind in screening time because of the sex scandal Edison got involved earlier... Till next time, TiBuN signing off...

Nasi Kandar Shariff Gelugor
After consuming 3 weeks straight of nasi kandar with frequency of at least twice a week, I noticed a consistent pattern from this famous nasi kandar operational standpoint that could be further improved to serve its faithful customer...
Maybe despite all that, the secret ingredient is the long wait? They say stuff that you waited long enough would taste better, hehe
Sunday spree
After that hang out with Horny and Jeebs at SOHO, nothing much, just seeing that Integra guy trying hard to beat some foreigners and make friends, then received a message from Sheeb and say they are at Soi 11, never heard of that place (yeah, I memang aw) so went there and hang out with them for a while... took a shot of Chivas I think before heading back to SOHO, dunk the remaining Carlsberg and headed back home, nearly killed myself on the last leg of the corner entering Halaman because some idiot parked a 4 wheeler right at the corner apex.
Nevertheless it was a good evening spent, I seldom play until so late already, guess its age calling out to me...
And now for the weekly update on my car...

The front mount intercooler is getting in, this is going to be sweet, I just hope the lag is not obvious, but by using a medium sized IC coupled with 2 inch piping, it shouldn't be that much lag on the CT9...
The car is now being 'wrapped' with a blue clothes because Shidi claims that too many people wanted to go in, start the engine and play with the throttle -.-"Hope the IC will get fixed this week and roll out for test drive next week... still have alot of cleaning up to do on this scumbag... I miss you dear :P
Anyway today had watched a movie called "Cloverfield" which is one of the shittest movie I have ever watched, it talks about a creature terrorizing NYC and with the filming effect of the portable camera (ala Blair Witch, Quarantine...etc) it made me felt so damn dizzy after the show. Granted its interesting but I find it hard to visually track the footage while remaining focus of whats going on, thumbs down for the show... alot of impossible things happened like removing a victim from impaling WITHOUT having much problem on over bleeding, things like no corpses on the road after all the crap that had happened, things like the US military using non-guided rockets against an enemy in their own home soil... I doubt so
Then after that watched another movie called "The curious case of Benjamin Button" starring Brad Pitt... this show pulak totally change the experience, nearly cried watching this movie (read: I still didn't), it talks about a baby that was born very old, and he gradually become young again...So basically the timeline for this movie is:
Mental age: 1 physical age: 80
Mental age: 10 physical age: 69
Mental age: 80 physical age: 1
So when he was newly born, his skin is old like fart, and when he is 80 years old, he is back to become a baby again, the main story is how he meet with a gal and how their relationship turns out to be... the last few years of the relationship is nice because he is living the best of everyday because he knows one day the gal will become old and he will be too young... So anyway, something worth watching with a little change of typical flavour in movie.

Lepak at JJ
Lepak was never the agenda or on my mind... but last Saturday Neebs came back from Singapore and Juju somehow manage to puncture her tyre... luckily it made its way all the way to the car park of JJ and Neebs had the honor of changing the tyre... However it was Jeebs who are happy like a monkey in a zoo...
Tell me if he is suicidally happy? Never see people enjoying while people there sweating changing tyre... LOL.

Earth Day 2009
Not only I did nothing, I wasted extra electricity because I forgot to switch off my apartment's light since Friday morning, and usually its not just 1 but 2 florescent light (master bed room and toilet)... and it has been switched on for 72 hours as of now for no reason (source: Jeebs). There goes my record of maintaining a monthly TNB bill of < RM20.
And did I help on emission? Guess not, the ongoing process of converting 4E into my G100 would definitely double the emission pollution due to the forced induction nature of the engine.
Technically 2009 I did the opposite of what others are hyped up so much for. I really just hope the earth died and let everything restart, we had screwed up the system soo much that a breakthrough is required. Awareness doesn't work if you are halfway killing a dog, and you spend 1 hour applying Dettol and stitches to him, but after that goes back to killing it again...

Bloody mosquitoes
The past week, I've been trying to source some device besides the useless mosquito repellent oil, and I'm trying to avoid using the pungent smell from the mosquito coil. Actually I'm thinking of a mosquito zapper but so far I haven't been able to source a good ones... The ones sold in JJ was not really of a good quality, sigh...
The only thing that I could do right now is wake up, sit still and wait for them to invade my airspace, then kill about 5 to 7 of them, had a few hours of peace time before the next wave of their comrades come avenging their dead brothers... Its getting so repetitive I swear this is god's way of pissing me off and forcing me to figure out an end game weapon.
Having said that, I still left the mosquito oil ON at night and pray at night that all those bastards will contact severe accute blood poisoning after sucking my blood... Yes, I am vulnerable to the attacks and I can do nothing about it except swearing.

CNY 2009
Hehe, I am getting lazy lately...
Outdated: New Year 2009
This year's new year is a lonely threesome at Jeebs place between Heebs, Jeebs and I. There is nothing more technologically happening than this: 4 laptops and 1 router. The best thing is Jeebs first time mix liqour for us, and that day he did "Cosmo" for us all. Its sort of like a mixture of smirnoff vodka, cointreau orangy, a hell lot of lemon and some expensive cranberries... The taste is good, not pungent and nice when down the throat..
Never see a bartender so happy before

Whose war is it?
Normally I don't give a shit who is right and who is wrong, as the fact that this is a long time dispute between Israel and the Islamic controlled region, right or wrong cannot be determined with a single action. However, what pisses me off is the way the world responds towards this incident...
- We have tons of people all around the world (Islamic people to be exact) protesting in front of embassy, capitol city and where ever they could gather
- Then we have politician and leaders from Islam oriented countries that condemn Israel's action...
- We have leaders rallying the people to boikot US made product
- Some other leaders passing memorandum around to try convince that Israel's action is wrong
All these are against Israel's retaliation, as they claim that its cruel and non-humanitarian.
R-i-g-h-t.... so attacking a nation is inhuman as it kills innocent civilian and destroys infrastructure needed to support lifeform, BUT launching non guided rockets at Israel is OK? Just because Hamas believe that Israel's current occupation is illegal, and hence they try to launch rockets to try to evict and hopefully eliminate the existence of Israel.... Seriously man, WTF!
Way to go Hamas team! No wonder you are getting your ass kicked by AH-64 and M1A1 Abraham, and yes, they do have guided missiles and computer assisted targeting system.... Seriously if these people think that violence is the way to solve problem, amid technological advantage on the opposition, they are plain stupid, and for all the people who support the Islamic side, it shows you aren't very objective on the matter either. But then again, religion is everything in this part of the galaxy....
If you are living in a neighbourhood with a group of ppl beh siok you, so you cut your land and give it to them, say that they could stay there, its their land, but I build tall fence, control the traffic to your neighbour.... its ok right? Didn't violate any law, civilization has been proven again and again that culturally strong nation will control the flow.... Then later your neighbour throw stones at your yard from their plot, you slap them, they slap you.... then through mediator a ceasefire was agreed upon. But after the expiry of ceasefire, the neighbour AGAIN throw stones into your yard, this time you see the stone are deadlier and with the message "tiew you" on it.... if you are the owner on the receiving end, you tulan or not?
Technically I would bring out my best arsenal and dish it out at my neighbour, not only to protect the family but also to maintain sovereign over my piece of land. Let see how this gonna end on both side...

4E or A31 or leave it be?
If I go for 1.3, I will partially achieve my dream of driving a forced induction car, but its still a Charade... a 15 years old charade to be exact, and that is not something spectacular... And I still have to endure a learning curve of driving a turbo engine, which is not as easy to maintain as a NA ....
If I go for Cefiro, I will be using all my hard earned money and then pay it all by cash, as there are no loan given for a 10 years old car... But doing that would achieve 3 main personal goals which is to drive a forced induction car, a rear wheel drive car, and also to consolidate my family's vehicle structure... not to mention having a normal work car and also a weekend car...But of course I will be a poor damn bastard and living a pathetic life
If I remain status quo, I will be able to absorb my house loan by keeping the cash in the bank to minimize the interest rate... It would definately help in the coming years when the economy hit bottom and starts to pick up again.
.jpg)
Being not able to make any significant decision, I had proceed to gather data on these 3 options and found out that the 1.3 would cost around RM5k, with the intercooler remain as top mount. This is not as cheap as 2 years ago, and the main reason is because of high demand and the strenghtening yen dollar against our stupid ringgit. Yup, economy crisis had impacted this decision, if I choose to move forward...Then there's the A31 Cefiro... Averagely its around RM25k to RM37k depending on location, modification done and also the condition of the vehicle. I had seen one being sold for RM18k but that's member price... too bad didn't have a chance to see that. This option currently I'm thinking to delay for now, and wait for the economy effect to kick in and hopefully there are people who couldn't afford to maintain huge cc car.... The dropping price of petrol doesn't help in this scenario at all :(
And if I were to remain status quo, I would be able to save at least couple thousands in interest alone... technically this is not a very hard decision to make, but its contradicting to my idea of living...
Hhmm... And then there's this friend J that wanted to find carpet for his Honda City... hiong kan already, since City is being assembled in Thailand, there are no half cut that masuk City carpet as all half cut stuff are coming from Japan... A similar substitute would be Accord 5 piece carpet, I hope he don't mind the word "Accord" there if found....
Problem statement everywhere, analysis are abundant, unfortunately solutions are always tricky to come by...

Now that I'm back for a while...
Life ain't really change much at this part of the world, work still alot and hectic... and if I were to tell my ex boss on my current working situation, she would laugh her ass off and say "told you so" right in my face before proceeding to give me wisdom advise :) But life doesn't end here, and this would probably work out in my favour as they say "you only learn through hardship and mistakes"....
Yeah, speaking of mistakes, so far I am doing pretty well on avoiding mistakes (as for those who knew me, I am prone to mistakes when I am under workload), being in my field of work, ESPECIALLY in this industry, mistakes are what that will end you up in jail, so double and triple checking is the way to go right now.... having said that, I have some really good luck after joining this company... Probably 1 hand is not enough to count em all, they started with:
- I lost my bloody wallet in Singapore airport terminal after my Singapore training, BUT THE BLOODY SIA PERSONNEL FOUND IT AND WAS RETURNED THE VERY NEXT DAY WITH EVERYTHING INTACT!
- They run out of economy seat on my flight to US AND THEY UPGRADED ME INTO BUSINESS CLASS!
- Despite being an Asian prick (I admit), I STILL MANAGE TO MET TONS OF WONDERFUL AMERICANS WHO SHOWED ME THEIR CULTURE AND LIFE (probably not even 20% of it, but anything more would be cultural assimilation to me)
- Getting caught for speeding in US under ridiculously high speed BUT MY FRIENDS POUR IN THE SUPPORT FOR THE TICKET DISMISSAL FEES!
- I lost my stupid Nikon S6 camera after the shooting range game in Phoenix, BUT THE COUNTER GUY SAW IT AND RUN AFTER ME AT THE CARPARK BEFORE I LEAVE TO RETURN IT TO ME!
- Economy crisis is coming and I MANAGE TO GATHER ENOUGH DOUGH TO ACHIEVE MY TARGETED HOUSING LOAN GOAL AND EXTRA FOR ENGINE CONVERSION!
Besides that, I have a few personal achievement that's worth mentioning:
- I managed to experienced one of the world's most exciting theme park under RM150!
- Fired my first semi-automatic rifle in my life!
- Drove an American muscle car! (not really a muscle but anything above 200hp would do)
- Cured my childhood lesion on my leg naturally!
- Bought 3 years of Chinese new year clothes at the fraction of what it is in Malaysia
There are more insignficant luck and achievement which I think its not worth blogging, so I'll let them pass. One thing I know even for an athiest is that life is really can be short, live life and enjoy an affordable lifestyle to prevent regret after you goto hell.... and no, I do not condone criminal activities.

Common conceptualization about gamers
I am not sure about other gamers, but for me, I found out that much of my traits are corresponding to the effect of playing games for the past 20 years in my life. Games attracts me, I like to stand there and see people play, trying to understand why that guy wanna turn left instead of right, trying to think why he chooses that place to set the bomb instead of there, and stuff like that (and occasionally get a negative feedback from friend that ask me to stop staring and start playing).... and I kind of like to analyze people, not judge... just analyze and ask questions about why he wanna say that, why she wanna do that...
Then I remember when I was young, I like to transform my hand into an airplane and fly around visualizing barrel roll, loop and those difficult maneuver, yeah... I kind of still do that now but without the hand sign. I believe this is also coming from the visualization skills I have when I started to involve in playing computer games.... Coz nearly all of the games out there are NOT real, you have fantasy or science fiction with plenty of effects and impossible maneuver in games, you have gruesome murder in games that even TV doesn't show and I never question it to be impossible.... That is how much I trusted myself in games, and I believe it kind of skewed the actual life that my eyes are seeing... kind of scary if you ask me, but I believe I'm still sane.
Not only that, but the never say die spirit is there, I believe this is the result of being too involve in games in the past, in game losing is a normal thing, loading a game probably took 10% of my total game time and even playing games that CANNOT die like "Fahrenheit" and "Days of the tentacle", losing will be in the sense of how to make the game advance till the end, and that I believe is the fuel to propel a gamer to reach the end point because there is a promising cake lies in wait...
and speaking of end point, most gamers will do in life with an end in mind, maybe not the final end in life, but a little distance away point where I have something to look forward to. This is enforced even more by my parent earlier when they give incentives if you achieve something insignificant like passing your PMR and stuff like that :P But the point is my mind has been shaped to chase for something, and without a goal, my life can be a total disarray with no direction, and this is where I can turn into something different if not careful....
After been in the States, alot of my colleague say that I am 'fearless' albeit in a stupid way, and they credited this to the reason that I have no problem take the free fall ride in 6 flags, I bravely rented an AR-15 rifle instead of starting out with a 9mm pistol during shooting range and I even suggested to have parachuting out from 15,000 feet from a plane.... and nobody interested in jumping from the sky.... lamers
Anyway, I believe this attitude steam from the fact that most gamers dare to face whatever the world throw at them, they have face crazy fuhrer in Wolfenstein, they have faced with impossible puzzle in Prince of Persia, and executed world record maneuver in Wing Commander or Descend 3D... So gamer never say die, especially for an atheist :P
So basically there are many wrong intepretation on gamers nowadays, and it really sux when we have to take the blunt for the failure in society. But I guess this is life, and as long as it doesn't take away the time and energy for one to concentrate on their love ones and important task at hand, it definately will build character.
Gamers forever!

The leprosy that was not meant to be
The game was introduced by my colleague and he had offered some pretty good advice on the way of betting and based on the odds that I had so far (7 win and 1 lose), I would say either lady luck was on my side or that the technique works. However the 1 lose that I have is also the biggest amount of $$$ i lost in my life in 1 bet. Darn....

Sky is clearing up...
However the time of low and down is over, now the moment of rejuvenation has come. Hahaha. After being recharged with my great holiday trip down in KL, I have found the reason of my existence again (probably not that serious but more or less so). Each people can be satisfied mentally, materially, physically, whatever... and I have found my share already.
The month of May marks the 1st time in my life that I was able to save money, even with the expenditure of the trip (after working for 5 years, there is NO single cents of saving and this has been a very sad thing indeed), so this itself is an achievement, coupled with the fact that my sister had passed all her diploma paper and may currently work towards her advance diploma, things is starting to pick up improvement.
Total expenditure of the household was analyzed and started to pave forward for a sustainable lifestyle, can't believe it took me so long to get it done... Done as it may, but its not fixed, I think the next few years of my life will evolve around money and investment, better start read up those books I bought...
Last saturday me and my sister were able to clean up the house and re-arrange some of the furniture, now it looks perfectly clean... And did a small celebration for my youngest sister on her passing in exam! We did it on TAO Japanese buffet, although the bill is not cheap and not everyone really sapu the food, everyone is happy and that's all that matters. One may be poor financially but might not so in happiness. And this week I am happy. Hahahah.
So bring it on babeh, I know you tried to bring me down but I will not succumb so easily :P

The heck with the heat these days
There were once the big changes on the earth geographical location, where USA was connected to Europe in terms of land soil, but these changes were millions of years apart, and to wait for the next ice age, maybe human no longer on earth (either migrated to Mars or invented warp travel or something)....
So to fix things out in this generation or near future, I thought of a great proposal just for mother earth herself.
Assuming the relative position of Earth in space is frictionless, people could just detonate a 5.97 x 1024 Joule of bomb at a designated part of the world, we could move our lovely planet by 1 meter, and thus go further away from the sun. Reference here
That would basically mean 216331 Megaton of bomb is required based on the energy conversion HERE. And typically 10817 fat boy WWII nuclear bomb (the one struck Nagasaki) is required, so it is actually do-able. If all the countries in the world do a mass disarm of nuclear weapon and stockpile it in a shit place on earth, Bangladesh? Then it will probably do everyone a lot of favor by:
- Population control
- Nuclear disarmament
- Proper nuclear disposal (while we're at it, we can dump all those toxic and heavy metal for 1 time deal waste cleanup)
- Open up a zone for repopulation and growth (after some time the dust settle)
- Fix any global warming problem
- Fix any ice lake melting issue

Then we will solve any global warming or any undesired effects on earth, while continue our lifestyle using fossil fuel. I feel like filing "Object moving theory" in UN and hopefully can get my first nobel prize.
*Of course there might be a problem of over correction and our earth plummet into an Ice age, but we can always detonate a few thousands megaton again in distant future, and of course kill and condemn the calculation engineer who made the mistake.

Point of diminish in power plant reached?
There was always
- coal, the dirtiest SOB piece of crap in the game where it automatically brings your pollution to level 3, followed by
- natural gas (environment ok but expensive),
- hydro (great if you have a Niagara fall near your city),
- solar (high maintenance),
- wind turbines (need alot and low output kW),
- Nuclear (risk radiation, high output kW),
- Microwave and
- Fusion power plant
However, latest news from US shows they are back to explore clean coal, Europe is also into coal, and of course Russia also likes coal now as there is no demand on their nuclear waste (e.g. Plutonium). So technically we're going back to coal, and this made the PC game Simcity, the board game Power Grid, and even many sci-fi movie obsolete.
Well that's a start, as gas and oil is reaching a record high price (USD118 per barrel as of now), all fossil power plant project had been switched to the coal, rather than oil or gas. So basically environment will get screwed anyway. I don't know the footprint involved but I can bet for every 10 person who strictly adhere to greenpeace advise, just 1 person who is poor and drive a 1985 Toyota Crown diesel will just offset the pollution made. Imagine what 5 coal plant will do.
I am not a green person, just wondering why the fuss on the Earth day, global warming and greenpeace are all about. The effort is being screwed by politician and government in just a few implementation, and someone need to fix the concept of technology on power plant.

Bad luck strike TWO!!!
Rant aside, just finished submitting my income tax and realize that I am actually spending most of my money paying people / organization / government.... this sucks. Why can't an individual enjoy his pay? My wishlist is growing but there is no progress since.... Last November? The last thing I buy for myself is the 29" CRT TV, how pathetic.
In fact I can't seem to actually afford anything lately, this is depressing as I have worked for 3 years, an average Joe would've save enough to buy a new car or treat himself for an E&O buffet dinner spread, while I have to keep remind myself that I need to keep the extra money for this and that. Sigh....
Well, at least I finally confirmed for the Genting trip next 2 weeks, WHOO HOOO!!! After 3 months of delaying and planning, finally I get to have a break away from all these crap in my life, period.... and get to raid uncle Lim's casino *nyek nyek nyek* Hope this will rejuvinate my hp and mana, and maybe my pocket also :)
