Invisible oppression

Continue from the sci-fi Zchi civilization story, due to the complacent way of the Zchi's life, the Tenbo's no longer respect the status-quo of the original treaty and now they comploit for more possession. There had been occasional racist remarks which undermine the lifestyle and way of the Zchi's population, which includes the questioning on why certain regions Zchi is living well while conveniently forget that 90% of the total region of Alysiam were in fact controlled by the Tenbo clan.

Pathetic that during the formation of Alysiam.... Tenbo, Zchi and other clan agreed to be all equal, however Tenbo were seen slowly occupying and creeping in to dominate the majority of the power, administration and land, now they wanted to squeeze what's left of the Zchi somemore.

With the recent awareness made by the media, many Zchi politicians begin to voice concern and loud for a move to establish live telecast screening of the politician assembly so that to be fair to every nation of Alysiam and spare the politicians any benefit of doubt. This movement met with opposition stating that whatever discussed in the assembly is within internal affair and do not affect others, and to begin with, the action to broadcast live does not really address the situation...

The actual fact that during the assembly, racist issue is still being discussed time and time again, and there are no significant deterrent to stop these from further happening. People are looking at a way to calm the rage, not fixing the concern.

Oppression will continue, majority of the Zchi clan will continue to suffer slowly, and only time will tell when this will be bring up to the next level.

Singapore business trip

Got a mission which is to check out a demonstration of a machine which my company will be buying soon, so off I go to this small country by SQ in a Boeing 777. To make matter worse I need to complete it in 1 day (not that it's that difficult to perform) but tedious if want to squeeze the whole agenda into 1 day. My friend 'Sak' was kind enough to pick me up from Changi and offered to share his bed (actual fact it's more like I get to hijack his bed).
Changi is a very colourful and nice airport, can say beat our local KLIA coz ours looks pretty much like an oversized airport with less 'meat' in the scenery.

Anyway since I'm slightly 'early' in reaching SG, I decided to pop into the once a year International Motorshow which is happening at SunTec convention center. This is the 2nd time I'm been to SG motorshow and this certainly looks the same as my previous visit, the car list seemed to be updated but basically the booth and placement are more or less the same. The first car that meet the audience is a Mazda RX-8, standard car with alot of hype. Nothing much here so I move on....
Next in the line that caught my attention is the Fiat Punto, new edition !!! This car basically no big deal, cheap crap with lots of electronic gimmick, but this one comes with an electronic SUNROOF !!! For those who are not familiar with sunroof, this is actually god's best invention in the world for human mankind. Coz it's ideal for autumn and spring, romantic during meteor shower, and definately cool during drag race. Fiat goes one step further and gave us the ultimate sunroof that any human had ever seen. The following is the evolution of sunroof from basic till the latest punto's !
The latest Punto's sunroof actually goes beyond the normal civic type and further drag the sunroof all the way back, 2x better than the normal Charade sunroof!!!

Man I want this car ! Dunno when the halfcut will start arrive Malaysia.

Then I continue to walk around, found those normal cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari Fiorano..etc, then I reach Subaru's counter, maybe because I'm too handsome, there's a guy name Russ Swift who wanted to take pictures with me, along with 8 others Subaru gals... after the event I went and check out and then realize that guy is the guy who hold the Guiness World Record for :
  • Parallel parking in tightest space
  • J turn in tightest space
  • Fastest do-nutsOh ok, one of those crazy guy who did those funny stuff around the road....

Continue down the road there are those Nissan 350Z, racing spec, road spec, those different versions, then Honda Civic, Integra.... then a nice chick, so I go and take more pictures with them to make them feel less boring...

Then me and my friend left the motorshow coz the rest of the cars are those Toyota Vios, Altis, Sunny, Imprezza...etc which is nothing much to see. This motorshow major items are alot of concept cars, which won't be making their debut on the road, which technically useless cause I won't be able to smoke them on the road anyway...

Noticed that Honda step actually went backwards and use Charade's back cover design :)

After motorshow, we went for dinner at Tony Roma's steak house just off Orchard road. 8/10 for my baby rib experience. Can say not bad lah.

I think the baked potato tasted the best, but the baby rib also cannot be forgotten, sigh....
Reach home very tired, straight sleep d.
D2, my friend need to go to work OT, don't know why people wanted to work on Sundays, in the end also have to use his hard earn money to treat me dinner and supper anyway :P So early morning 10am I off to take their transport bus and MRT to Orchard ! Yay, shopping time. The street is full of Indons (or is it Philippines maid?). Geli loh, so many of those people hanging around Orchard Road.... very little nice gals to see, maybe all stay at home or go other shopping area :(

They got these street ball for gals going on, watched for a few minutes, no big deal so I cabut, checked out Paragon, Takashimaya, Kinokuniya :P, and those adjecent shopping complexes. Run the whole mile and only landed myself with few shopping clothes only, including some for my gal's. So basically that's it, total shopping duration : 9 hours (11am - 8pm). But of course among there got lunch and 2 hours book reading at Kinokuniya :P

Luckily some of the shops already started to have December Christmas sales in advance, else I will be struck with very expensive goods to look at. Speaking of Christmas, the streets are already decked with santa's magic, it's been long since I celebrated Christmas in Singapore, damn I miss those days.

Nite time meet up with Sak, he brought me to Sakae Sushi off Yishun and seeing that this is his treat, I ordered a Sashimi Bento, heheh, sure must hantam him kao kao mah. After the dinner, made a challenge to ourself that we could down a bowl of Swensen's Earthquake volcano 8 scoops ice cream, and so we did. Later we call off the next challenge of finishing a set of burger king coz we might not be able to walk home if we proceed.
After reach home pack up all my stuff and ready to goto 'work' the following day.
The following day is a plain working schedule with machine demonstration, evaluation, data recording, lunch, closure and then leave Singapore. Lunch is nice at Crystal Jade Restaurant which menu similar like 'Kim Gary', 'Wong Kok' (Chinese cuisine style). The total set lunch for 6 person only cost SGD230, which I think consider ok for their food.

This trip let me know alot more on fact in life. Apparently working in Singapore really is getting good for my friend, coz he practically bought himself a flat screen LCD TV, a high end DSLR with complimentary lenses, mobile phone, ipod...etc, maybe I should start looking at other part of the world ;)

Many thanks to you 'Sak' for the hospitality rendered.

Stone age colleague

Cannot tahan lah today, so must blog this down first before I break down and laugh. Talked about a colleague of mine – Porda, the other day regarding the job load allocation technique which pisses me off, and today he made my day again. Time is morning, I’m still experiencing my morning blue and systematically addressing my job work and suddenly he popped out behind my back and ask the one million dollar question

"Eh, you all always play those chatting program.... How you all chat 1 har? My computer doesn't seem to have"

Fooh… I went speechless for like 2 seconds. Then I tell him politely “You download it from the internet”. He ask me how, so because today I’m a very good guy, so I teach him how to use google and what to search for…

Then another one million dollar question

"I want to use our company email to register for MSN should be ok right? They should be able to register all types of email one right?"

Again, speechless for another 2 seconds before courtesy and politeness told me I should answer him again. I say “No lah, you need to have hotmail or yahoo mail to register 1…

The final one million dollar question

"I don't have hotmail or yahoo mail wor, how?"

Nia ma pom pom eh, want me to teach him how to sign up for hotmail and yahoo or not ?! KNN, bugger already 35+ years old d somemore don’t know all these crap! How can these ppl survive I really don’t know, even my technicians and operators also know how to use MSN and yahoo to chat with me, this is a fricking SENIOR engineer. I ought to take over his place, in fact, I think I will just do that, since I kinda like his job. I understand there is a lot of pathetic people in this world, but up to this point is really world record type already.

Nuff said I have enough dosage for today so I will be avoiding him for like 2 hours, these days I have seen kids with serious attitude problem coz they play too much cyber games, but this is like the other side of extreme point.... culture shock to me man. I found the one and only guy in my company who doesn’t know how to use a chatting program. It’s rare but it happens

Ulcer party

Not sure if it's because of the trip to Singapore, but there has been alot of ulcers popping out from my lips... I registered 3 fully riped ulcers (meaning they are the most painful phase). Not because I dowan to drink water but the water price in Singapore is so expensive.... blardy Malaysia government overcharging the water price to Singapore! So there you go, one of the reason I have to suffer, because of my own G.

Really can't believe that, sounds like I slapped myself. And these multiple ulcers also affect my mood, my sleep, my speech, my thinking.... I think I need more sleep. Must be due to the jet lag I experienced from Singapore back to Penang. SIA air stewardess also not pretty 1 this trip.... *sigh*

Blur colleague (Porda)

Everyone that knows me knew that I have a very big tolerance to everything in life, I can tolerate if someone accidently spill coffee at me, I can tolerate if someone mistaken me for someone and beat me up, I can tolerate if you jump queue and drive in front of my car. But I cannot tolerate people that push his/her job to me and somemore demand me a deadline!

Have this colleague who asked me to help him snap a picture of a unit yesterday, so fine....snap picture only ma, what so hard about it, somemore he don't have camera, so I say ok, out of good grace, I will help you take picture and send it to you.

Then he ask since you're at it, can you take the picture, identify the area of defect and then put into Excel spreadsheet and then send to me, wah! Now want me to help him DO his job d, I say "Nope, you do, this is your task, not mine, you can identify your defect yourself", then he argue say since I already open up the package, I can do it lah, I smarter lah, can see defect better lah, all kinds of bullshit (normally I would think it's compliment)... chinese he say "顺便" (Shun bien), shun bien my ass lah, can he pump petrol time "shun bien" pump my car? Can he buy milk powder for me coz he "shun bien" buy for his kids?
CRAP lah these people....

and if it's not enough, he have the AUDACITY to say "Can send me before lunch right?"
CCB, that time already 12:00pm -.-"

OK fine. You know what? I ain't gonna send. I told him "I'll do when I'm free...." (which basically means fuck off and die, but I doubt he catch my drift coz he's a bit blur)
Now I'm free, but I won't do it yet, why? Coz these people pisses me off.
I plan to give him end of this week for things that could be done in 10 minutes.

Retards that I know in my life....

Blood test!!!

Did a blood test when I was 23 years old, no abnormality based on that report, but if I remember correctly it takes about 5 minutes to extract what can be done in 1 minute, during that test, the blood froze halfway during the 20cc pick and it had to be resume after I downed a cup of lukewarm water. OK so fine, my blood are naughty little bastard liquid.

On 4-Nov under the influence of my gal, I went for another blood test at a health lab near BJ. Things went well except for the fact that blood refuse to flow out of my body, it took 4 attempts to extract the cute red liquid from my green vein and it still failed. Bloody trainee doctors I presume. This is exactly what happened…

1st attempt
Doc 1: OK Relax
Me: (Look away and pray) …
Doc 1: Hhmm…
Me: (Curious… felt tingling pain on left arm)
Doc 1: ….(about 30 seconds)
Me: (Turn and see the needle)… WAH! No blood come out 1 ?
Doc 1: (Remove the needle) Never mind, you go out there and wait for a while, later we do again.
Me: (thinking… OMG, AGAIN?!?!)

Went out, saw my gal waiting, tell her the bad news, she say never mind, don’t nervous or panic, oi oi me a bit.

2nd attempt
Doc 2: OK, I heard that your previous attempt fail right? OK never mind, relax.
Me: Very relax already (palm sweating, knees weak, arms are heavy)
Doc 2: (plunge needle into right arm)
Me: (Looking at the syringe…. Why my blood didn’t come out 1?)
Doc 2: (Try to suck the blood out… Nothing but pain)
Doc 2: (Try to suck harder)
Me: Sssss (show a pain face)
Doc 2: (Remove the needle) Hhmm, ok, you go out and drink a cup of water first. Then we try again later.

Went out, saw my gal again, tell her bad news, take a cup of water, down it.

3rd attempt
Doc 2: Lets try this again, calm down, and we’ll be fine.
Me: Why my blood didn’t come out har?
Doc 2: Did you drink a lot of water? Maybe your blood too thick cannot come out.
Me: WTF… If like that I need blood thinner
Doc 2: Heheh, ok relax.
Me: (Here we go again….pain, more pain when doctor pump the syringe… still nothing, KK!)
Doc 2: Never mind, I administer you to another doctor, more expert in this blood test
Me: (Got doctor expert or not expert in taking out blood 1 meh? KK!)

Went out, saw my gal again again, tell her the same news, drank 2 cups of water. Prepared to die again.

4th fricking attempt
Doc 3: (Looking at my biodata together with Doc 2) You said earlier you had trouble withdrawing blood samples in your early experience right?
Me: Ya, but not as bad as this, last time at least can extract half vial before it stop, but today langsung tak ada !
Doc 3: It’s ok, sometimes the blood is too thick or flow too slow to be extracted.
Me: Wah, like that mah never will had my blood taken out?
Doc 3: No lah, don’t worry, not that serious one. (Remove the 4th needle I see in a day, and find a nice G-spot at the middle of my arm. I think she is trying to locate one of my big artery which is hidden beneath the green vein coz I see that she just pluck right in the middle without any vein in sight, not really pain, just a bit tingling and numbness until…. )
Doc 2: Want to wait a little while or not before plunging deeper (in Chinese, thought I don’t understand mehhhh)
Me: (WTF does that mean? Doc 3 is not patient enough ? She is doing it too fast so that to be able to leave office soon?)
Doc 3: (plunge about 5cm of needle inside my arm, could be coming out of the other end of my arm anytime soon… then started to perform suction, for the first time I saw my blood !!! About a small pinch, not more than 1 mm, then she try to suck more, and then strangely… ONLY AIR COMES OUT….shit loh, why ?? Why my blood didn’t come out 1?!?!)

My blood decided to rebel and stay united in my body. Only 1mm blood extracted. What I said next really pathetic after I thought of it… I said …
Me: Like that the blood enough or not ?
Both doctors looking at each other…. While not to embarrass me, Doc 3 said…
Doc 3: Never mind, how about you come back later? Say tomorrow?
Me: How about Monday? (Coz tomorrow will be too soon for my blood to be any better IMHO)
Doc 3: OK, Monday, please come again so that we could take your blood sample. Remember to drink a lot of water.
Me: (CB, KLK)
Doc 2: Remember to drink more water har….

Went out, saw my poor gal out there waiting for nearly an hour already, tell her the news, get oi oi a bit then left for lunch (Fasting for 18 hours already!)

Anyway today already extracted the damn blood. Took only 1 minute to get them out, but my palm is sweaty, can see the sweat there, heck, even during management presentation I am not that scared. So this experience taught me few things :
I don’t have the material for being a great man.
Besides roaches, I had identified a new phobia, and it’s not blood.

Now I look like a bloody drug addict with multiple puncture hole at my arm. Count : 5 !!!

Fried Porridge 炒粥 at Serdang - Kedah

Went to this secluded restaurant to had dinner with family, took about 45 minutes of long winding road without street lights to reach, but the patrons there are amazing, nearly full house in a small place like this, it's already a wonder sight.

The famous dish here is supposedly the fried porridge, basically they use cooked porridge and put into kuali and fried. Taste very nice and good, inside got salty meat somemore.... fooh.
Though I must admit, my first impression to this dish is not really good, looks like some crap cooked by a 5 years old, but I can keep asking for more (even 4 hours ago I just downed a KFC dinner plate !)

Besides the main dish, we ordered additional 5 more dishes which are shit-ham with sauce, kangkung sambal, fried fish karabu, and sauce sotong fillet (鱿鱼)

At the price of RM80 for all include drinks for 5 person, I would say this is value compare to Tambun seafood. But considering the fact that we need 45 minutes of travelling from BM using Sungai Bakap road, then I guess it won't be put on priority list for dining area.

The best drink at that time, similar to our 932 but preserved by the restaurant themself, extra cooling even on a rainy night.

The special guest at the restaurant. A gigantic fish which look similar like a Lorhan.

Overall experience, 8/10 for a dinner. Recommended if you want to something different than a typical Tambun meal.

Sense of sympathy

One of my colleague resigned on Monday, he’s responsible for the tester handler and ESD matters which is currently what I’m taking over. Not really angry of him leaving me a bunch of unfinished business, but was actually felt a sense of sympathy in him. Why? Coz during his last day of work, at 8pm, he sent some forwards to me with a lot of mp3 and wma songs…. Actually those songs were ok, they were all Chinese oldies that I listen during my primary / secondary school time, but on his last forwards, he say something like this “ I like to listen to songs during the night, it reminds me of my young times when I was studying, everyday ride the bike and can flirt with gals everytime, that time everyone have a common goal of passing exams, no backstabbing and politics…. I can’t go back to that life anymore but I never forget what kind of life I want to live. Bye”

I was like wow, his mail struck even on a cold hearted mortal like me.... he always strike me as the type who had endured a lot of storms and weather during factory life, therefore he is like those old wisdom guru who is looking forward on day’s end, but I didn’t know he was thinking like this. Then another part of me so wanted to agree with him, drop all I have and maybe work in some crap workshop, or maybe just go Australia and pluck apple and strawberry…. I’m pretty sure if I have no family or those detos, I might just live that way, probably get me a nice foreign chick who looks like Jessica Alba… OK maybe not.

Everyone knows working sux, especially in fast pace environment where things can go from mundane to turbo speed at a click. They say it’s the price to pay for your salary receive, but I review back my salary… it’s just junior pay. So maybe I’m underpaid, or I’m doing it wrong in my direction at work. Either way I need a change, either myself or my work environment.

Regardless, that currently ex-colleague of mine went to become a staff in a famous college in KL, which happened to be my alma matter. Good luck dude.
